"Many thanks for your vision, and in aiding
us to reach our desired garden"
The brief was to create a very low maintenance garden with lots of
space for entertaining, and to accommodate a large table, bbq and
patio heater. The client wanted to try and reuse the existing railway
sleepers, and to have low maintenance evergreen planting. The house
is a tall three storey townhouse with minimalist interiors, with
the kitchen doors opening onto the garden. The kitchen flooring is
a natural stone which was extended onto the patio. The spaces were
turned at an angle to maximise space, and pale limestone paving and
dark hardwood decking were chosen to be in fitting with the interior
of the house. The fences were a painted a neutral grey/mauve to bring
light and space into the garden
