Curiosity Garden

Design Rationale
A garden full of discovery and curiosity, with paths that cause you to change direction and lead you to different parts of the garden where you can dine, sit, lounge or be productive. The planting is soft and billowing with arching grasses and wildflowers that sway in the wind, and beautiful trees that separate and define the garden.
A stepping stone path in the lawn leads to a concealed dining area, welcoming you with twinkling lights, framed by informal drifts of planting and large statement containers. A bench is tucked away between plants positioned to appreciate the morning sun, and the BBQ is hidden behind around the corner, accessible but not permanently on view. A second path leads to the new greenhouse with raised beds for veg and fruit frames with informal seating and good access to the shed.
The garden flows seamlessly from one space to the next keeping most of the exsiting structural planting and adding colour, texture, movement and scent with the use of ornamental grasses and long lasting wildflowers that will attract insects and pollinators to bring the garden to life.
