Cornwall in Kingston

Kingston upon Thames

Construction to start April 2026

The hard landscaping materials have been used to identify and define the different zones within the garden, and to lead you easily around the garden whilst being surrounded by lush tropical plants and elements of surprise and discovery such as the sculpture and weather vane.

The existing tiles from the ‘upper’ terrace have been repeated next to the built in BBQ to ensure there is a link between the upper and lower parts of the garden, and as a tool to distinguish the ‘kitchen’ from the paths and the ‘rooms’.

The paths are created from textured stone pavers which lead to a comfortable lounge set on large scale paving slabs, and at the end of the path a Barbara Hepworth inspired sculpture nestles amongst lush plants and tree ferns. L-shape beds soften the hard edges and allow you to walk between and amongst the plants and festoon lights twinkle over the comfortable sofa and fire bowl.
